The end-user and the administrator can both access their registered
services and requests using the same SeMaBASE® user interface.
Support
SeMaBASE® reduces the client-side support of the IT department
because of being web-based. This gives the administrators
the opportunity to update the solution centrally. The only
activity on the client-side is the up-to-date of the web browsers.
The Open System Architecture gives the possibility to put
the new in-house developed services and applications on the
top of the SeMaBASE® system without any difficulties.
Scalability
SeMaBASE® can run on each major operating system, get datas
from each major databases and present the datas via each major
web servers on the market.
This feature of SeMaBASE® provides the customer a platform-free
scalability in their environment.
Load Balancing
The load balancing capability is supported by the scalable
architecture and the application server at the business logic
layer, which gives the possibility to share the load of the
web servers and database servers.
Security
The security for the data retrieve is based on the session
management. And the data exchange between switches and SeMaBASE®
system is based on SSL encryption.
Compatibility
SeMaBASE® has a vey wide range of operating system, database
& web server support. For further questions, it is useful
to contact BilPark directly. SeMaBASE is in conjunction with
the other BilParks xBASE products like CorBASE, ProBASE, DoXBASE & BMBASE.

Service
& Maintenance
This module is the basic module and manages the profiles of
the users. This module is based on the two parts as definitions
& inputs.
This module is storing the data on the product & customer
basis.
In order to structure and report the whole data, all aggrements
& trouble/maintemance records with the cost details are
storing in the same database.
This details gives the possibility to manage the local capacity
& resources in a best way.
The web-based infrastructure gives the platform to share the
limited/defined data with the partners/subcontracter.
User
Management
This module manages the access rights for the user in order
to access several services with the defined rights over portal. Corporate Directory
This module is storing the corporate-based datas for each
user. Instead of this module the exisiting HR module can be
migrated to the SeMaBASE® system and used easily. If there
is no such kind module, than this module is a mandatory basic
module as well.
Report & Alarm Management
The alarms can be user-defined or standard. The users can
be notified via web interface and/or e-mail about the alarms.
By leveraging SeMaBASE® Report Module, project executives
and managers can generate real-time row data or XML based
adata to optimize the performance of their investments.
Warehouse Management
With this extended warehouse management module the products can be assembled with different sub modules via system/module architecture
and can be followed up by different criterias.
Trouble Report - SeMaBASEfc
Customers can enter and track their trouble reports related with their installed products via internet without any call center interface.
Order Management - SeMaBASEfo
The subcontractors and even customers can define their orders via this module, which is online with the warehouse module all the time,
send to the related department and track the actions taken by this department over web without any customer/subcontractor contact person.
Customer Contact Management - SeMaBASEfcrm
This modules provides a platform to the users to track and add/edit/delete/plan all activities with the defined customer in the SeMaBASE customer database.
Document Management
SeMaBASE® provides document management, including document
brief description,creation, review and approvals. This management
system provides a logical, visual and intuitive document association
environment, making it easy to locate and retrieve pertinent
information. All documents aggregates to the associated project
element, and can be instantly viewed. This module is the light
version of the DoXBASE solution.
Forum
The forum provides the user a platform to share the information
and ideas across the projects.
Complaint
Management
The users can send their complains related to the SeMaBASE®
system to the administrator via web interface and tarck the
actions taken by the responsible persons.
Bulletin
The users can be informed about the chances/new features about
the SeMaBASE® system via bulletin module by the administrator
or other purposes by the responsible persons.
Portal
Portal gives the end-users the one&single-user interface
to all services given by the CorBASE®. The Portal can be managed
by the Portal Administration Module.
This infrastructure gives the possibility to communicate with
the other xBASE products like CorBASE, ProBASE, DoXBASE & BMBASE.
Architecture
SeMaBASE®
as web based solution needs a presentation layer formed by
the web servers. The N-Tier concept will cause to gather the
all business logic on the business logic layer, which reduces
the load on the data layer. This concept gives the flexibility
feature to the SeMaBASE® solution. The flexibility feature
supplies the platform-free support.
All submodules, which are running in the satellite concept
over the open system architecture -OSA- around the basic system,
can communicate with the outer world over the basic system.
The developed services can be combined with the SeMaBASE®
Solution via this OSA of the Basic System, which runs on the
application server.

the Service Layer Agreement Concept.

System Requirements
SeMaBASE®
can create accesses to each kind of the major SQL database
servers and present its dynamic pages via each kind of the
major web servers on the market.
SeMaBASE®
can run on the following operating systems; NT4.0, Windows
Server 200X , Linux and the major Unix variants on the market.
The hardware
requirements are varying related to the user and stored data
on-line. The hardware configuration will be finished right
after a pilot project on a location(s).
