DoXBASE is a document management system that works fully integrated with the other BilPark products, SeMaBASE and BMBASE. With its definable Workflow automation, documents and paperwork can be routed through the desired steps and the defined processes can be completed in a paperless environment.
DoXBASE works on a file and virtual directory logic. Virtual directories are managed by users with management authority. The rights and permission structure of all directories can be defined separately.
A workflow can be defined for directories so that an added or updated file passes through approvals. Besides the rights defined for directories, properties such as description, sizing, encryption and locking can be set; and for files, properties such as description, keywords, locking, validity period and revision information can be entered as well. In addition, by using the search engine with the properties listed above, documents can be searched across all directories.
Documents added to encrypted directories are stored encrypted. Even if encrypted documents are accessed from outside DoXBASE, access to the information is prevented.
